Poor Little Lappy
My Lappy died earlier-went to install a windoze update and it seemed to be all fine and then just died. Took him to a puter shop, apparently the hard drive was on its way out and cause it was trying so hard to fix the error, it kinda keeled over and died. The puter shop said they will give me a new hard drive and set Lappy up for me but I won’t get him back ‘til Monday. This update will have cost me around £100!
Currently consoling myself with Bacardi and Coke.

It's silly now
That’s not even ALL of them.
Currently, I have a large box and a large carrierbag full of beanie babies. AND. My entire desk is completely covered in beanie babies. And that’s STILL not all of them.
They’re taking over my room but I wuvs them. :(

Stupid ears.
The Tuesday after my last stretch (like, three days after the stretch), I woke up with a throbbing left ear lobe.
Ear lobe damn near touched my shoulder. SO. SWOLLEN. Gritting my teeth, I got the back o-ring off and took the crescent stretcher out. Gently, I squeezed my ear lobe, so anything inside the hole would come out and ended up with a disgusting mixture of blood and pus trickling down my neck.
Yummy.
Cleaned myself off and put my 1.6mm plug back in; the second you see blood on a fresh stretch, downsize.
I was on holiday at the time and got back yesterday. I didn’t have access to sea salt, so just cleaned it with warm water and left it the hell alone.
Almost two weeks on, the ear’s fine again. Dying to give it another go though…
(It was an infection. I didn’t clean the holes enough and touched them too much. I know what I did wrong and will make sure it won’t happen again.)
9 months agoOne step closer
Did another ear stretch earlier. I was at 1.6mm (14ga) and now I’m at 2.0mm (12ga).
I shouldn’t have done it; I was planning on doing it when I get back from my holiday and not the day before. I was just testing to see how far they’d go and they just sort of slipped in. I thought “Cool, I’ll keep them in then!”.
No pain or discomfort of any kind during the stretch but about two minutes later, they started to burn. Quite badly. They kinda feel a little warm now but I’m about to clean them off and put the back o-rings on before I go to bed.
One step closer to ear perfection.
10 months agoStupid root canal
Four days after getting it done, it’s still achey and on the worst side of painful.
Everyone says to stop eating with the tooth but it’s a front tooth. CAN’T BE HELPED.
Aaand. My face is swollen.
10 months agoSick of waiting!
I’ve got an ear project going on. My idea of perfection for my ears.
This is what I currently have:
- three lobe piercings
- two higher lobe piercings
- helix on my left ear
- anti-helix on my right ear
- conch-to-helix orbital (done to look like a snug piercing) on my right ear
- baby-stretched first lobes (they’re currently at 1.6mm / 14ga, they were 0.8mm / 20ga)
This is what I want:
- three lobe piercings
- two higher lobe piercings
- helix on my left ear
- anti-helix on my right ear
- conch-to-helix orbital on both ears
- 1.6mm / 14ga second and third lobe piercings (second lobes are currently 0.8mm / 20ga and third lobes are currently 1.0mm / 18ga)
- 5mm first lobes
I’m so close to my idea of perfection; another conch-to-helix orbital in my left ear and another few stretches and I’m done!
But the place I get my piercings done is being moved and they’ve shut their old location because they suffered flooding in late June, early July. :(
And I feel like I have to wait forever for my current stretch to heal, so I can move on to the next.
So. Want. It. Now! :(
11 months agoChristian rock isn't that bad...
I always thought it would be really cheesy and totally not what I like.
But I listened to Skillet, a christian rock bad. And I like it.
It could be a one-band-only thing but still: I like a christian rock band.
